Strategic Planning

Strategic Planning will enable you to tap into the wisdom of your top tier executives
. The off-site experience, away from day-to-day operations, opens the door to new perspectives and revised objectives on significant issues and helps executives and leaders develop strategic business plans.

Executive-level Retreats are designed to enhance learning and focus while stimulating vivid imagination and spirited dialogue. Attendees envision future outcomes, find alignment in critical decision-making challenges and come away with action steps and metrics to gauge success.

The strategic planning process includes:

Pre-Retreat Planning to understand your needs through analysis of organizational history, growth goals, industry trends, corporate culture, metrics, and the executive team’s strengths and challenges.

Retreat Agenda incorporating a creative approach to designing a compelling 3-5 year Vision and an honest and sometimes brutal analysis of the obstacles to the Vision. Your team is then led through a process to design Strategic Directions to overcome obstacles and move forward. First Year Goals and Action Plans are created to take steps toward the longer-term Vision. A Comprehensive Structure is mapped out for keeping the plan alive, with accountability and adjustments to changes in the internal and external environment.

Post-Retreat: Before the session ends, your team plans how they will follow through on their plans. The teams that execute most effectively meet quarterly to review results and team performance. Elaine sends a full documentation to the team after the retreat outlining the strategic focus, goals and action plans. She facilitates the quarterly updates, in which each team member shares progress on goals. Time is allocated for addressing challenges, brainstorming new opportunities and creation of a detailed action plan for the upcoming quarter.

Elaine Morris is an expert in strategic planning facilitation and she also offers other executive-level services designed to foster leadership and improve organisations such as team performance workshops, executive coaching and more.

Strategic Planning

Your firm’s involvement from the strategic business planning stage, to the needs assessment stage, to the design and delivery of the workshop and the post workshop follow-up helped transfer workshop learning into workplace action. ..We are very pleased with the results we realized from your consulting and training services and the use of the follow-up support tool, and would highly recommend you in the future.

Senior Vice President, Real Estate Company

Your facilitation allowed us to accomplish much more than we have ever accomplished before during our year end planning. I would recommend you and your process to anyone that is serious about strategic planning.”

You’ve helped us with three meetings now. The value of that help is immense. I’ve worked with other consultants in the past. I’ve never had anyone combine the planning, the facilitation, the personal coaching, the contribution to the discussions, the flexibility, and the strength as effectively as you have–all with a very personal touch that the group responded to. I think every person in the group, including me, has learned, has grown, and is literally a better person for that knowledge. How do you value that?
